FLUGANREISE / BY PLANE
Der nächstgelegene Flughafen ist Faro. Eine Anreise über Lissabon bzw. Sevilla ist auch möglich und komplett unkompliziert. Faro und Lissabon werden von sehr vielen Fluglinien zu günstigen Tarifen angeflogen. Sowohl für Hin- als auch Rückreise empfehlen wir euch falls möglich Flüge am Nachmittag. Es gibt folgende Möglichkeiten, vom Flughafen Faro zu unserem Surfcamp zu kommen:
BUS & BAHN / BY COACH & RAILWAYS
(empfohlene Anreisevariante)
Vor dem Eingang zum Flughafenterminal findet Ihr einen Taxistand und die Haltestelle der Buslinie Eva. Mit dem Bus (Linie 14 oder 16) oder Taxi fahrt Ihr zur BuszentralstationAvendia oder zum Bahnhof von Faro. Beide Stationen befinden sich im Zentrum und sind nur ca. 200m voneinander entfernt.
Die Fahrt mit dem Bus vom Flughafen ins Zentrum kostet ca. EUR 1,50, die Fahrt mit dem Taxi ca. EUR 9,-. Von dort nehmt Ihr dann den Zug (ca. EUR 6,-; Dauer ca. 1,5h) oder den Bus (ca. EUR 5,-; Dauer ca. 2h), beide bringen Euch direkt nach Lagos. Die Anreise ist somit einfach und unkompliziert. Von und nach Lagos bieten wir einen gratis Transfer zu fixen Zeiten an. Ihr müsst uns nur die genaue Ankunftszeit mitteilen.

MIETWAGEN FARO / BY CAR
Da die Mietpreise in Portugal günstig sind (ab ca. EUR 120,- / Woche), empfehlen wir Euch ein Auto zu mieten, wenn Ihr flexibler sein und mehr vom Land sehen wollt. Das Mietauto wird Euch dann am Flughafen übergeben. Günstige Angebote findet ihr rechts in der Sidebar!
Die Entfernung vom Flughafen Faro nach Arrifana beträgt etwa 110km. Ab Faro fahrt Ihr auf der Autobahn A22 in Richtung Lisboa/ Portimao bis zum Ende. Danach geht es weiter auf der Bundesstrasse nach Aljezur (ca. 20min). Kurz vor Aljezur kommt Ihr zu einer Kreuzung, dort biegt Ihr links in Richtung Vale da Telha ab (steiler Anstieg). Am Hügel angelangt biegt Ihr links ab. Ihr folgt der Strasse durch Vales. An der folgenden Abzweigung haltet Ihr Euch rechts. Danach kommt Ihr am Vale da Telha Hotel vorbei und gelangt zu einem großen Kreisverkehr. Von jetzt an richtet Euch nach der grafischen Beschreibung.
MIETWAGEN LISSABON / BY CAR
Ihr fahrt vom Flughafen Richtung Süden auf die A2 Sul auf. Die A2 mündet am Ende in die A22 ein und Ihr fahrt immer in Richtung Lagos. Die restliche Wegbeschreibung findet Ihr oben. Die Maut in der Stadt und auf der Autobahn beträgt in Summe ca. EUR 20,- pro Strecke.

The closest airport is Faro (approx. 75 min), to where a lot of airlines offer cheap airfares. Therefore we recommend you to choose Faro airport. If you have the choice of different flights, we recommend you to choose one that arrives in and departs from Faro in the afternoon. It is also easy to fly to Lisbon and take the bus to our surf camp.
From Faro to Lagos by train or bus (recommended option)
In front of the entrance to the airport terminal there is a taxi stand and the EVA bus station. By bus (€ 1.50) number 14 or 16 or by taxi (€ 9) you go to the central bus station AVENIDA or to the train station. Both stations are situated in the center of Faro and there is only a distance of 200m between them.
By train (€ 6; 1.5 hrs.) or by bus (€5; 2hrs.) you get directly to Lagos. We offer free transport from and to Lagos. Please inform us about your exact arrival time. Meeting point in Lagos: If you arrive by train, we meet at the entrance of the old train station building, if you arrive by bus, we meet at the entrance of the bus station

From Faro to our surf camp by car
Since car rental is very cheap in Portugal (about € 120/ week) we recommend you to rent a car if you want to be more flexible and want to see more of the country. We can also organise a rental car that you get at the airport.
The distance from Faro to Arrifana is about 110 km. From Faro you follow the highway A22 in the direction of Lisboa/Portimao(to its end). Afterwards you continue on the public road to Aljezur (about 20min). Before Aljezur you arrive at a junction where you go left in direction of Vale da Telha (uphill). On the top you go left again. You follow the road through Vales. At the following “junction” you stay right.You pass by the Vale da Telha Hotel and get to a big roundabout. From here you stick to the map
From Lisbon to our surf camp by car
You drive from Lisbon airport south to the A2 Sul highway that ends in the A22 highway and continue driving towards Lagos. From Lagos to our camp: see above. The toll fees from Lisbon to the surf camp are € 20.
