Morro Jable ist ein altes Fischerdorf, das bis etwa 1970 relativ abgeschieden in der Einöde des Südens Fuerteventuras lag. Als jedoch eine Straße nach Morro Jable gebaut wurde, setzte der Tourismus ein, der inzwischen bestimmend für den Ort geworden ist. Damit wurde Morro Jable/Jandia Playa zum wichtigsten Zentrum des Tourismus auf Fuerteventura. Hinter dem Ort gibt es nur noch einige Pisten, die nur mit Geländewagen befahrbar sind, und zum Beispiel nach Cofete oder die Südwestspitze Punta de Jandia.

CASA ALBERTO MORRO JABLE – Das Casa Alberto liegt 3 Minuten vom Strand entfernt in Morro Jable. In dem kleinen Hafenstädtchen kann man in den engen Gassen und an der lebhaften Strandpromenade – in urigen Fischerkneipen und Tapasbars noch das echte Spanien erleben.
30m neben dem Casa Alberto liegt unser Surfschulbüro, wo Du Dir Beachcruiser Fahrräder, Skatebords und Surfbretter ausleihen kannst. Mit dem Fahrrad fährt man 10 Minuten die Strandpromenade von Morro Jable nach Jandia. Am langen Sandstrand von Jandia brechen oft moderate Wellen zum Wellenreiten lernen.
Das Studio hat eine Sitzecke, Fernseher, Doppelbett, eine kleine Küchenzeile und Balkon. Auf der gemütlichen Dachterrasse und den vielen kleinen Balkonen des Casa Alberto kann man bei einem fantastischen Blick auf den Atlantik und Morro Jable entspannt den Abend ausklingen lassen. Das Casa Alberto in Morro Jable ist inklusive Halbpension. Die Halbpension findet in einem schicken kleinen spanischen Restaurant statt, wo es richtig spanisches Essen gibt, zum Beispiel Tortilla, frischen Tomatensalat etc.
BUNGALOWS COSTA CALMA – Die Bungalows liegen nur 30m vom Strand entfernt. Die Anlage hat zwei Swimmingpools und ist liebevoll begrünt. Die Bungalows haben Wohnzimmer mit Sat-TV, Schlafzimmer, Küche, Bad und Terrasse. In der Nähe gibt es einen günstigen Supermarkt, einige Restaurants und Bars. Die Bungalows und die Appartements liegen ca. 15 Gehminuten auseinander.
APPARTEMENTS COSTA CALMA – Unsere Appartements liegen alle nebeneinander in der selben Anlage, so dass man nach dem Surfen noch etwas mit den anderen Surfschülern unternehmen kann. Die Appartement Anlage hat einen Swimmingpool und liegt ca. 5 bis 10 Gehminuten vom Meer entfernt. In unmittelbarer Umgebung der Appartements gibt es einen Supermarkt und einige Restaurants. Die Appartements haben Wohnzimmer, Bad, Kochecke, Schlafzimmer, Balkon oder Terrasse.
In unseren Appartements kannst Du für 60,- Euro pro Woche und Person die Verpflegung als Halbpension dazu buchen. Die Unterkunft kann auch ohne Surfkurs gebucht werden für Begleitpersonen von Gästen die Surfen. Der Preis für nur die Unterkunft ist der Surfcamppreis minus 190,- Euro für den Surfkurs.
The surfcamp’s office is situated in Morro Jable. The little fishing town is surrounded by Fuerteventuras highest mountains and longest beaches. Through the narrow alleys and along the vivid beach promenade you can experience authentic Spain in cosy seafood restaurants and traditional tapas bars. A hill with a picturesque esplanade divides Morro Jable from its neighboring town Jandia. The lively town invites tourists for shopping and attracts with varied night life. Next to the 3 km long beach promenade is a dedicated lane for skateboarding, cycling and inlineskating, so you can explore town while riding a skateboard or bicycle. Situated in front of the lighthouse at the long beach of Jandia, is one of the most famous waves of Fuerteventura, called “Cruz Roja”. Heavy swells from north west or strong winds from north east make the lighthouse wave come alive and creates either moderate waves ideal for learning to surf or perfect tubes for the Spanish local surfers.
Also situated in Morro Jable is our OTRO MODO Surfshop. Here you can hire surfboards, inlineskates, skateboards, beachcruiser bikes or just relax with a “café con leche” while surfing the internet via WLAN.
Costa Calma is a young village, that stretches from desolate cliffs in the north, to the sprawled out dunes of the southern peninsula. The gently inclined area allows an amazing sea view from every place in the village. Costa Calma has got everything a holidaymakers heart could desire: a long white beach for sunset walks; supermarkets and boutiques; cosy restaurants and a disco. Costa Calma, is located on the narrowest part of Fuerteventura. At this part of the island you only need five minutes by car to drive from the east coast to the west coast. You want surf and windsurf? Then you’re at the perfect location – in Costa Calma there are some excellent windsurfing schools.
CASA ALBERTO MORRO JABLE – You will find our surf house located only 3 minutes by foot from the sea overlooking the town of Morro Jable. You will be accommodated in neat and cosy double rooms, which are situated next to each other. The rooms have a balcony and bath room with shower and toilet. On the wide terrace and the various balconies of the surf house – with an amazing view on Morro Jable, the beaches of Jandia and the atlantic ocean – you can enjoy the evening and gently let it fade away. The trendy coffee bar “Arena” provides your meals (half board). In a relaxed atmosphere with music a la “Café del Mar” and surf videos, you will get fresh baguettes, cereals, juices and cafe con leche for breakfast. At our Spanish dinner served with fresh salad you can share your new surfing adventures with your fellow surf students. On request we can arrange for you to stay at a choice of hotels in Morro Jable and Jandia.
BUNGALOWS COSTA CALMA – Our bungalows are situated only 30m away from the beach, so you can hear the sound of the sea when you wake up. The bungalows are equipped with kitchen (inclusive: fridge, stove, cutlery and dishes), television, bathroom and patio. Within walking distance are several restaurants, a supermarket and a night club. All bungalows are situated in the same complex so you can enjoy the evening together and let it gently fade away. The bungalow complex has two swimming pools and is surrounded by palm trees and hibiscus flowers. Note: Our bungalows and apartments are situated 15 minutes walking distance from each other.
APPARTEMENTS COSTA CALMA – You like comfort, but appreciate your independency? Our apartments, with kitchen, have an excellent cost-performance ratio. The apartments in Costa Calma are situated in the same apartment complex, that you can enjoy the evening together and gently let it fade away. The apartment complex is in walking distance to the beach and has got a swimming pool. All apartments are equipped with a bathroom, fridge, cooking stove, cutlery and dishes etc. For an additional price of 60,- euro per person and week you can book the meals as half board! On request we can arrange for you to stay at a choice of hotels with varying levels of quality or bungalows with two bed rooms for groups and families.
