Der „Winter“ in Marokko ist bekannt für nahezu perfekte Surfbedingungen. Auf mehr als 2000 km Küste rollt der Atlantikswell heran. Von Imessouane bis Tifnit gibt es jede Menge gut zu surfende Spots. Anfängerkurse finden an den meist sanften Beachbreaks von „Banana’s“ oder „Panorama’s“ statt. Fortgeschrittene lassen sich von den anspruchsvolleren Spots „Killer’s“ oder „Boiler’s“ herausfordern.

Von den Toren Marrakesch’s über die lebhaften Souk’s in Agadir bis hin zu den Fischern, die täglich mit ihren blauen Booten den frischen Fang für den kleinen Markt in Taghazout hereinbringen, erlebst du hier neben dem Wellenreiten eine faszinierende andere Kultur. Marokko bietet übers Jahr verteilt mindestens 300 Sonnentage. Die Wassertemperatur liegt durchschnittlich bei angenehmen 18°C.

Season at Maranga Surfhouse Taghazout starts in early december – weeks and stretches till the end of april. So, you may enjoy christmas and new years eve in an oriental mood and ….surf!

Add in some near perfect weather conditions (300 days of sunshine a year, an average temperature Nov-Feb of 21°C, water temperature 18°C) and you’ve got a recipe for the ideal surf trip. You may have heard about the legendary kilometer rides at Anchor Point.
